Key among the responsibilities of the Board is sourcing funds, managing, establishing and awarding loans bursaries and scholarships to students. Through the Act, the Board has been able to recover funds loaned out to Kenyans in the past.

The board has been awarding loans to all our students in various levels i.e. Diploma, Craft Certificate and Artisan in all the courses that are offered at the institute for the past two years.

The institute has taken the initiative of helping the student apply for the loan whereby we have established a department that deals with all the matter concerning HELB loans application. In addition, the institute has been in regular contact with the HELB office, to help educate our trainees the importance of HELB.
